ios10 photos, names not recognized

Anyone else not able to search photos by name after upgrade to ios10? I have named all photos of people's faces by name originally in iphoto and can still search by name in photos on my imac 10.11.6; but now on phone it doesn't recognize names, and new "people" album only shows a few faces and those are not named. I contacted support and was told they would call back, but did not receive a call back. My photos are shared through the cloud on devises.
